When I first started as an artist, I was only aware of studio art. Graphic design wasn’t on my radar until one day when I discovered the Adobe Creative Cloud YouTube channel. My eyes were drawn to the endless potential that digital art offers; branding, ad campaigns, illustrations, and typography. Dozens of videos later, I decided that I wanted to become a graphic designer. That curiosity has never left me; I admire how other artists approach the creative process and identify what I can learn from them. Throughout my time at Morningside, I’ve grown a lot as an artist and an individual, which has opened my eyes to new aspects I want to explore more in-depth. I enjoy creating designs around my passions: fashion, travel, and sustainability. My creative expression is characterized by bright and natural color palettes, organic and simple shapes, and contrasting detailed illustrations.

I desire to create designs that inspire or challenge someone’s way of thinking. My fall semester abroad in the Netherlands has influenced me to take my sustainability efforts further and embolden others to learn how to incorporate eco-friendly practices into their everyday lives.
